wouldn't bother with preacher curls, stick to compound lifts with good form and make sure you've deadlifts and squats in there and you can't go too wrong.

this this and this.

ive to go see a specialist on monday bout my right arm, i broke it 3 or 4 years ago arm-wrestling, i cannot straighten my right arm fully, its a nightmare, cant hit the head of my treceip either as i cant straighten arm, its sore and very uncomfortable, benching lobsided, etc, ill prob have to get it broke again and reset proper, the thoughts of going into cast again and giving up the training for about 3 months is killing me, arm will go real skinny again from cast!! mad to think my arm snapped in half before my muscle would give way..

Post your programme up mate, deffo interested in seeing it. Ive been going the gym for about 5 months solid now and I'm loving it, my bench is shit compared to anything your pressing but i love reading other peoples training routine.

Ive been going with my mate who's followed Mike Mentzers High Intensity Training programme - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcMOG0ECqDU

It seriously wears you out for a good 4/5days but I've already noticed a difference in size and strength, couldn't even change gear after doing my chest and back the other week.

Struggling to avoid eating sugary things, as far as getting the right carbs and plenty of protein in I'm doing fine.

how do people eat/drink during the week? Ive cut the beer right down but I'm on the wine at weekends and not sure if its going to hamper with training.

Not sure about the size diet etc, but for powerlifting calcium and B12 are > protein. The nervous system and skeleton is fragged more than the muscles!

Whats the best free sharing site now?

I'll post my programme up, its the standard in powerlifting now, based on conjugate periodization...

yeah eating right is very hard, i love my food to much, i eat a lot of poached eggs, tuna steaks, salmon, cod, chicken and turkey and a lot of fresh veg but my downfalls are bread (no white, i eat this soya low gi stuff that actually tastes nice) and sweets, choc bars, biscuits etc. I am always driving around from job to job in the day so its hard to not pass certain places at dinner time and feel tempted to pop in. Maybe a bit of cardio will shift some weight, its only a bit of chest and stomach fat, the rest of my body is fine.

No but im thinking of starting there, i was going one down the bottom end of town which is new but the guy who runs it is obsessed with low weight high reps and he drew me out a routine and its just shit, no heavy weight at all and if he see's you doing something new he questions it so ive went up to Intrim which is good but so busy from 4pm - 7pm every night. Teds is huge so i could be up for going there, im just hopping from gym to gym at the min haha.

intrim near argos?? Fucking hated it there, too much fanny and jam packed. Teds is awesome, some serious beef in there. Walked in and nearly walked out after seeing size of some of the guys in there. Shift some serious iron in there too. Can get away with not paying every month. Pay once then just keep walking through. I managed to get 3 months out of it.

haha yeah everyone avoids paying, not sure how he keeps the place open to be honest. ALOT of roid heads in there but everyone is spot on, i went for a few months last year, the amount of machines is pretty impressive too, can get upstairs to yourself and wack your own cd's on most the time. I think im gonna go there actually, its quiet after 6 most nights.

put the desired amount of resistance in bands around the back and do resisted push up. same action different move.

lat pull downs are easy. set resistance again and hook door anchor over the top, kneel down and go for it.

shoulder press can be done also. just stand on the bands with both feet lift each side up with the hand grip and start shoulder pressing.

there isn't anything in the gym yet which I haven't found I can do with bands.

then your strength is mediocre. Tell me how I could squat heavy with bands? and get the same resistance at the start of the squat as I do at the top?
Dont fags use those bands for training? how do you work your legs? i am assuming they are gimmicks like those late night adverts.
