parcel2go.com get quotes on there for different services and they pick it up from your house. I sent a laptop to Germany on a 2 day for £23.

Don't ever choose hermes on their site lol.. hermes are a bunch of fucking retard general public who are paid by hermes to use their own cars and deliver parcels to customers, they do not ever take a delivery parcels back to the depo if you aren't at home. if you arent in then they leave it behind your bin in all weather conditions or just chuck it on your front garden in clear public view. Fucking hermes... what a joke

much prefer the mk3's over the 900's and 2000's

How come u prefer the MK3s over the 2000s Gaz
Much prefer the pitch on the mk3's and think the 2000's are too polished and precise. Cant describe it but i wasnt a fan.

I have the 900s, they are great and are cheeper than the 2000 but still have pretty much all the functions. The big plus of the 900's compared to the 1000's is the USB function where you put all your music on one USB  instead of CD's. I put all my music in set playlists before playing out, it even gives you the option each time you reconnct the USB to you computer of downloading sets and the order or the tracks you have played, pretty slick. I don't even bother burning to CD anymore, just use the USB.

MK3's and mixer ordered. Sorry mate I got a mixer from the same guy as the decks. thumbsup

Right, now its an amp and some speakers laughing

Any recommendation folks on a good amp/speaker setup?

I'm not after some massive bins, just a pair of monitors that have a bit of bang behind them if I crack it up a little bit. Quality over quantity though thumbsup

And of course a good power amp to power them that has the ability if needed to add some beefy speakers for parties if necessary biggrinlaughing thumbsup

Do you reckon the KRK Rokit RP8 G2 will be good enough? Save having to buy an amp too?

Yes mate I found his ad on gumtree, but didn't realise it was your guy till I chatted with him lol. Getting a pair of MK3's and a Xone 4D mixer off him too. thumbsup

Ok so i've narrowed it down to these 2.... Mackie MR8 MK2's or KRK Rokit RP8 G2's?

Anyone had any experience with these as heard good reviews for both?

I was going to go for the RP10-3's but thought it might be taking piss spending nearly £900 on speakers for mixing lol laughing

The CDJ 2000s are the dogs bolox IMO...But are well overpriced...The 900s class, pretty much the same play as the 2000s, pretty much same fuctions. Lining myself up to get a set of 900s this year myself...
