....according to me.

Been having a rant about early set DJs banging it out lately, so i've decided to do this mix to demonstrate how a Hard House night should (in my opinion) be warmed up. Starting from 130pm tough House through to 145bpm Hard House.

Hope you enjoy thumbsup

borders on electro and bassline if u ask me.

i'd rather warm up a hard house club with old tripoli eg..

Mixed with new more groovy hard house eg Ross Homson - Little Miss Liability.. Nik Denton vs Andy Farley - Big Dipper (Ross Homson Remix)   Some really nice warm up kinda stuff out there at the mo. Work well as warm up and tracks to break your set up I think.

I'd be pretty disappointed if i had payed money to go to a hard house club and heard this being played.

Not having a go but I think this is how not to warm up a hard house club properly.

Rather actually play hard house without thrashing it out.

I enjoyed this, and wouldn't be upset if I walked into a hard house club with this style as the first set, but then I'm old enough to remember going to clubs that started the night with house music and would shift through several genres so wouldn't bother me at all... it's just the set before the set you guys would play really, shame there aren't more nights with well thought out progression throughout the night... obviously, this just my opinion of course, can't be arsed to argue over whether its right to like something or not...

Its not hard house in my eyes either, could be wrong.
Its maybe warm up in the genre you play Sam which definatly isnt Hard House. Hard Dance yes and maybe warming up somewhere such as Goodgreef. Not a stab at you Sam as i do agree with the warm up set being 'banged out' all too oftenthumbsup

That's the fucking way.
Every time I hear these tracks it reminds me why the fuck I used to cain Hard House literally all the time.
If I went to a club and they banged these straight on it would get me in the mood right from the off.
The oldies fucking rule imo.

OK -  can't even be bothered getting into the "This isn't hard house" ..."oh yes it is" again

Think what you want, it's hard music for a warm up set.

Yeah its all a load of bollocks, fucking childish debate. Seen as we are on this topic though, you heard this new Hard House tune? Fucking mint, not heard of the guy before but he's pumping out some right stormers.

I know its a bit different but still definitely Hard House.

Yeah, it is a childish debate, a very narrow minded one at that.

And yeah, we've just signed this guy to tidy; he's got an EP coming out and he's playing warm up at the next event.
Big things scheduled for him mate.

A childish debate you thrived in a few months back. Its not norrow minded at all, just because i dont agree with you. Some might say its narrow minded that you just dismiss someone else's valid opinions. Im not arguing with you though as your a good egg and its not a personal issue.thumbsup

maybe you should just stop labelling the shit you play as hard house then as you're just tarnishing it's name, simples.

I do think inspiration has to come from somewhere else though. Those tripolis were used for warmup when they were made 15years ago, they were doing the same job for me 7years ago and seems they are still being used now.

no doubt theyre good and do the job but lots of new stuff needs to take its place in my opinion. Not sayin the above are it though, havent listened to them as at work but all music evolves and takes influences from other areas.

Tech Dance and Hard Funky Techno is what I like for earlier sets.  Hate hearing people bosh it out rally hard on the first set.  Makes them looks arrogant and unprofessional.
